As someone who lives in a country that is an archipelago, flying is the main access when travel time is short. Having a hometown at the northernmost part of the country shortened the means of transport list as well! Add those with the rest of the journeys to go in a year? Sitting on the plane can be an art of itself!
Despite the risks and dramas which sometimes occur on the plane (why is getting off the plane in order of row is so difficult for people to fathom?!!), it is possible to keep everything in tact throughout the journey. Most especially when we know the reason we are on that plane at the first place.
How to make it counts, though?
This blog was scheduled to be posted on December 1st, 2011 at 00:01 am (GMT +7). Even though I have uploaded the main picture two months ago and written the content several days ago, I want to skip November 2011 all together. Yes, I know. After almost two years blogging on this website of mine, finally there is a month where not a single blog was posted.
Admittedly, the real life is more important to me.

“Don’t go anywhere near it!” said my mom.
“I won’t!” I replied.
I later told myself that near or far, I had to see it!! So off I went visiting two small cities near my hometown – Tomohon and Tondano. I wanted to see a nearby active volcano, Mount Lokon, that ‘coughed’ few days before. The journey went well and no more activities could be seen from afar which make it less dangerous to get even closer. That fact as well as the beautiful scenery I saw on top of a resort near the city of Tomohon made me sigh in relief.
Until two days later when fear poked his ugly face right in front of me.
