I didn’t even know what a blog is!
Needless to say, I had no idea what happened at that time but I gave it a go anyway. I did that by experimenting with all the features there. I figured, I already hit a button by mistake. I might as well hit the rest of them! I still remember my first blog ever, just a post with one sunset picture (the one I use here) and a short paragraph to describe it. It was as simple as that!
Little that I knew what was about to hit me.
I became addicted to blogging since then. I personally like the way it allows me to express myself and interact at the same time with variety of people. Of course, to each his own. For me, blogging opens many doors of learning opportunities. I started learning how to write blogs on Yahoo 360, then how to take pictures on Flickr before I moved to Multiply where I learned how to design a page.
I enjoyed every single one of them!
It is a tad different with taking sunset pictures, though, because I have loved the sunset for as long as I can remember. However, it wasn’t until 2005 when I started taking its pictures with my first digital camera. The fact that the sun can rise and set in different ways never ceases to amaze me. It’s like a silent reminder of how beautiful life is.
That there is time for everything under the sun.
Having said all that, I’m glad to be back on track and start blogging again. It hasn’t been an easy journey with all the ups and downs but I chose to count my blessings instead: the people I’ve met (on-line families all over the world) and the things I’ve learned so far. As of now, I’ve been learning by sharing for 3 years and that part will never fail me!
Yes, that’s what blogging is to me.
Welcome to my “home”!
