I am also happen to be a big fan of “move your own way”.
So why am I doing this then? I’ve tried to explain it right from the get go on this first blog of mine. My first reason is “Learning by Sharing”. However, it doesn’t stop right there. Most especially not when there are so many ways to learn by sharing on-line, whether we like them or not.
Bottom line is: blogging is not the same as before.
Before I did something about that, I didn’t want to put the cart before the horse so I started by doing some research and planning. After getting all the information I need and learning from them, I decided to use three social medias as a set of tools to support the purpose of this blog.
I learned more about people and things by doing that.
I started by opening the first ‘tool’ on August 14th 2010 which is a Facebook page with its main purpose shared on this post. Then I opened the second tool on October 25th 2010 which is a public Twitter account with its first tweet explaining why. The the last tool I utilized is a channel for videos on YouTube.
The challenges escalate and I was caught by surprise.
There were some dramas but I won’t say much about them because it is up to us who we want to be connected with. What I forgot to calculate is the TIME. It took me so much time to make sure everything is running well, up to the point that I hardly had enough time to post a blog.
I am glad it doesn’t interfere with things in the real life.
However, it was not easy to stop and smell the roses!!! I found myself running from one site to another which was fun but at the same time turned out to be exhausting. So one day, I sat with my friend and told her everything. She then reminded me that I must know not only why I started them but also why I must keep going.
That made me sit down and ponder more than once.
In the end, I see the people who have been parts of everything here and there. I have been learning by sharing with my own families, best friends, on-line friends as well as new friends on more than one sites. I am grateful for those opportunities, of course, but why do I keep on doing them?
The reason is simple. Because I care and as the last blog in 2010:
