This blog was scheduled to be posted on December 1st, 2011 at 00:01 am (GMT +7). Even though I have uploaded the main picture two months ago and written the content several days ago, I want to skip November 2011 all together. Yes, I know. After almost two years blogging on this website of mine, finally there is a month where not a single blog was posted.
Admittedly, the real life is more important to me.
This time, though, I am not the one who is facing a challenge. Not one, not two but four people I deeply care about started opening up and shared the challenges they have been facing in late October 2011. On the one hand, I was dumb struck by them. On the other hand, I am determined to help them in one way or another.
It’s my turn to help them.
These are the people who have been there for me through good times and most especially bad times. I just wish they have told me the minute they started having those problems instead of waiting for months before doing so. Instead, I found out about them all at once! So I decided to dedicate the entire month of November 2011 to help sort things out.
Did I succeed?
I tried my best. In most cases, I had to settle with ‘agree to disagree’. However, the support will always be there because we don’t have to agree to support one another. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes we cry. Sometimes we scold each other. In the end, we judge a tree by the fruits it bears. We don’t need words to know the friendship is real.
We can feel it!
There is a greater lesson for me after all is said and done, though. Do any of you remember those multiple-choice tests we used to have back at schools? Life is a lot like that. In every ‘challenge’ we face, there are several choices from which the correct one is to be chosen. People are different so most likely we have our own approach to this.
So tell me, how to know which one is the correct ‘answer’?
